Religious Education Program
MOTHER OF MERCY PARISH
The Religious Education Program offers our children religious education leading to completion of their Sacraments of Initiation (First Eucharist and Confirmation) in the Catholic Church. The Religious Education Program is for children from the age of 5 (Kindergarten) through Grade 8.
Note: The Religious Education Program was formerly called C.C.D. (Confraternity of Christian Doctrine).
The Religious Education Program of Mother of Mercy is rooted in the Gospel and our Catholic Tradition. Recognizing parents as primary educators of their children, we seek to support them in this vocation. We enable families to connect faith with daily life. We encourage lifelong learning to provide the opportunity to experience the rich sacramental life of the church, who nourishes and sustains life.
The Religious Education Program runs each September through May, for children in Kindergarten through Grade 8. Students are required to attend The Religious Education Program each year from Kindergarten through Grade 8 to receive the full benefit of religious instruction.
